As part of Network Operations, this position is responsible for monitoring, first level support and maintenance of networks that provide services to IFN customers.
Supports the sales team with presales technical product solutions; provides pricing, quotes, sales agreements, and orders for service for various service configurations requested by the customer. Collaborates with Sales Account Managers, Business Development, Accounting, and Operations to ensure proposed services accurately address customer needs and pass IFN business case process.
The Systems Administrator provides technical and functional support for all systems and end users that are essential to the operation of Indiana Fiber Network. This role is responsible for and expected to configure and deploy the enterprise systems and applications, install upgrades as needed, and perform preventative systems maintenance across the organization. This individual is a key stakeholder in the selection, installation, and implementation of new systems and capacity augmentations as required. The System Administrator also supports the continuity of business processes by providing a reactive response to system malfunctions and operational failures. This position is a professional IT position.
