IFN’s CEO Attends New Lisbon Telephone Company’s Open House
IFN’s CEO, Kelly Dyer, attended New Lisbon Telephone Company’s (NLTC) Open House on April 17th. The Open House included a tour of NLTC’s Central Office. NLTC’s first phase of their new network build was successful. They installed new access equipment in the New Lisbon office, as well as new cabinets in the New Castle area. The next phase of NLTC’s network build will begin in May, with the addition of six additional cabinets in the areas around New Lisbon, Millville, and Straughn. NLTC also plans to install about 50 miles of fiber optic cable in Henry and Wayne Counties. This fiber build will connect the new cabinets to each other and to NLTC’s customers, as well as allow them to provide services to nearby communities like Mooreland, Lewisville, and Hagerstown. Also congratulations to New Lisbon Broadband and Communications (NLBC), a new competitive services subsidiary of NLTC, on completing the conversion of all the newly acquired wireless customers from Solutions Unlimited recently.
