Indiana Fiber Network, LLC Establishes Interconnection with INDATEL at Cermak in Chicago

Indiana Fiber Network, LLC (IFN), the leading Indiana statewide Network Service Provider, announces interconnection to INDATEL at 350 East Cermak in Chicago.  According to IFN Vice President of Sales and Marketing August Zehner, establishing a carrier interconnect with INDATEL is a noteworthy stride in IFN’s plan to create a national service offering.   “Cermak is at the heart of telecommunication access facilities for the Midwest.” said Zehner.

Commenting on IFN’s interconnection, “INDATEL‘s Rural Local Exchange Carrier members serve over 5,000 communities nationally. This interconnection will further facilitate IFN’s Ethernet Transport Service to Indiana organizations looking for national high bandwidth broadband fiber service.” said Max Huffman, Chief Operating Officer of INDATEL.

Kelly Dyer, IFN President and CEO said: “IFN has access to Content Delivery Network (CDN) peering agreements with the major Internet Content Providers through this interconnect.  Moreover, IFN will have access to INDATEL’s Ethernet Exchange Service for Carriers and Enterprise organizations looking for high bandwidth fiber transport service throughout the United States.”
